हरियाणा राज्य प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड Haryana State Pollution Control Board
The Haryana State Pollution Control Board was constituted in the year 1974 vide Haryana Government Notification No. 3677-P.W. IV (4) 74/33298 dated 19.09.1974, after the enactment of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 to preserve the wholesomeness of water. Subsequently, with the enactment of other environmental laws the responsibility to implement the provisions of such laws was also entrusted to the Haryana State Pollution Control Board in the State of Haryana.In order to have uniform laws, all over the country for broad environmental issues endangering the health & safety of our people as well as of our flora and fauna and also to check environmental degradation.

Success Story of HSPCB
- All the clearances of Haryana State Pollution Control Board are being given by the Board through online mode. (HROCMMS/Invest Haryana)
- 29 CAAQMS Stations have been installed by the Haryana State Pollution Control Board at various location covering all the district Headquarters and some major cities of Haryana to monitor the real time data with respect to Air Quality.
- Haryana State Pollution Control Board has developed its own Central Software for Continuous Effluent/Emission Monitoring Systems in industries and common facilities. (www.hspcbcems.nic.in)
- Almost all the industries which are liable to install CEMS have installed the same as per applicability. 950 numbers of air/water industries and common facilities has installed Online Continuous Effluent/Emission Monitoring Systems out of 500 numbers of industries has been connected to HSPCB server for Real Time Monitoring of Effluent/Emission parameters installed by industries and common facilities which is also available at (www.hspcbcems.nic.in/public)
- Board has implemented fees deposition of CTE/CTO in online mode through HROCMMS.
