Apply for the Multicultural Scholarship Program shortly after submitting your Common Application for admission.
This student’s family had saved money for college but knew they couldn’t afford the full sticker price and assumed they wouldn’t qualify for need-based financial aid. Since the student took the most demanding curriculum available throughout high school and achieved around a 3.88 GPA, the Office of Admission awarded a St. Joseph Scholarship, worth $30,000 per year. Combining the scholarship with the federal student loan programs, Providence became a much more affordable option.
